Episode 34: The Boondock Saints

And time for another fan request! Johnny recently reviewed the podcast over on iTunes and let us know about it. He also gave us a pretty good list of movies to review. First on the list? The Boondock Saints.

The guys discuss how the script for The Boondock Saints was inspired by true-life events, touch on our cultural love for vigilanteism, and talk about the role of religious-motivated violence in society. A lot of time is devoted to the topic of self-loathing. The guys also talk about the  vignette format of the movie, and the wonderful score.

If you think we’re on point, or if you want to send some Irishmen and an FBI agent our way for some vengeance after you hear our review, let us know!
